【摘要】:Greenhousegasesarereportedtobeamajorcontributortoglobalwarming.Sincex201C;biomassCO2x201D;emittedfromcombustiondevicesrepresentsanet-zerocarboncontributiontotheatmosphere(thatis,plantsremoveCO2fromtheatmosphereandsubsequentcombustionreturnsit),itdoesnotcontributeadditionalCO2totheatmosphere.Themeasurementofbiomass(biogenic)CO2allowsregulatorsandstationarysourceowners/operatorstodeterminetheratiooffossil-derivedCO2andbiomassCO2indevelopingcontrolstrategiesandtomeetfederal,state,localandregionalgreenhousegasreportingrequirements.ThedistinctionofthetwotypesofCO2hasfinancial,controlandregulatoryimplications.1.1Thispracticedefinesspecificproceduresforthecollectionofgassamplesfromstationaryemissionsourcesforsubsequentlaboratorydeterminationoftheratioofbiomass(biogenic)carbontototalcarbon(fossilderivedcarbonplusbiomassorbiogeniccarbon)inaccordancewithD6866.1.2Thispracticeappliestostationarysourcesthatburnmunicipalsolidwasteoracombinationoffossilfuel(forexample,coal,oil,naturalgas)andbiomassfuel(forexample,wood,woodwaste,paper,agriculturalwaste,biogas)inboilers,combustionturbines,incinerators,kilns,internalcombustionenginesandothercombustiondevices.1.3Thispracticeappliestothecollectionofintegratedsamplesoverperiodsfrom1hourto24hours,orlonger.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
